Rumors about the Photon Belt, which have been circulating for years, have now become reality. Earth has crossed over into this expected but unknown dimension. In fact, the "World is Square" rumors started more than a year ago among a group that has been following the Photon Belt legend closely.
Because of a meteor shower that was said to affect the whole world, countries were warning their citizens not to leave their homes. As a result of the shower, many square-shaped meteorite particles fell from the Earth's surface, and some people began collecting these particles. It is said that the 1212 Square Pieces will show those who collected them a new and unexplored land.
One morning, the meteor shower ended suddenly and the people wake up to a different atmosphere on Earth. Everything around them is square now, just like the meteor particles they collected. At first, people could not understand this but when they look in the mirror, they realize that their own forms are square, too.
